A walking adventure at Scarborough, Queensland

There is this hidden walking gem that it appears only a few know about. If you go to any water area along Redcliffe there are always people around but here, only a few locals with their dogs seem to know about this place.

So where is it?

Endeavour Park off Endeavour Esplanade in Scarborough, Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia.

I left work early and decided to do a walking adventure at one of my favourite locations. The charm of the housing lined up with views of the ocean is smart housing. Plus the different types of boats from sail boats to whale watching yachts is a sight to see and then you have the ocean literally at your feet.

Plus, I don’t know what it is but it’s so cool to see the sky meet with the ocean. You can just breathe fresh air here and just feel good.

The walking area seems small but it isn’t. I did 5,000 steps up and down the strip.

I then walked along the sandy mud because, why not? It’s just as cool.

Look at the beautiful sky in this photo, just stunning. It was very calming this walk with the blue water and blue sky and the different elements such as the muddy sand and the trees.

Also along the walk has a rocky stone boarder. So I can hear the water gently hitting against the rocks. Making it a very peaceful walk.

And I still had some energy and excitement so I went a bit further in Scarborough to my next exploration.

Welcome to: Bill Marsh Lookout at Scarborough Beach off Landsborough Avenue, Scarborough, Queensland

It was getting late in the afternoon, so one thing to be mindful of is if you are going to explore, make sure the tide doesn’t come in too fast and leave you on the sandy banks without a way back.

This was a cool thing to do, except here is another warning you should wear closed in shoes because the rocky shells on this ground can cut right through your feet.

In addition, a bit further it says the red dirt wall may fall, which is a bit frightening and limited my time there after seeing the sign.

Also your shoes go bright orange from walking even near the red dirt.

So a few things to consider before exploring. I did enjoy the exploring though and even though I have been to Redcliffe many times before, I don’t believe I have ever seen this special spot.

Afterwards, I saw some women going up and down the stairs as a form of exercise and it definitely had me puffing Just going back up once.

So if you are in the area, go visit these two places not just for a walk but for an adventure.

Overall, it was an overcast day and was supposed to storm, hence the clouds but it ended up being perfect weather and I ended up doing well over 8,000 steps and my legs were quite exhausted, I had a smile on my face and my soul enjoyed and felt at peace with its adventure.
