Exploring Wellington Point

I went to visit Wellington Point beach. I did used to live there when I was young and thought, is there much there?

It was a funny day, it started sunny but the drive to Wellington Point was a wet one. It was the afternoon and I arrived to pouring rain and a dark sky to Wellington Point beach.

I have to say though, it still looked stunning. Wellington Point has a road that comes down a hill and then this path so if you wanted could drive around a half circle to see the ocean right round before finding a park.

The first thing I did was get an undercover table and then watched the rain fall. I wasn’t really sure if I would be heading home without actually going on the beach of Wellington Point with the rain heavily pounding the ground.

However, by some miracle, the sky dried up and then I walked over to the island. The sun light pushing through the clouds was magnificent over the sand and water. The sand was filled with shells and I heard walking on the ground is called grounding.

Grounding connects our body to the Earth and we as humans should do this action as much as possible. So I grounded by walking through the sand with water nearly all around me. Except for the sand bank, which I will warn at high tide is covered.

As I walked back I noticed the massive tree I used to climb and it is still there. Plus, this huge bush. Because it was getting dark, I didn’t go check it out. But behind this big bush area my friends and I used to climb the big red dirt hill covered in shrubs and trees and was pretty steep and felt like it went forever. I must go back and see if it’s all still there and would I dare go through there again? Absolutely.

You can easily spend a day at Wellington Point beach, based on the Bayside of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Plus there are toilets and a little cafe and a jetty! This is a cool and fun family outing that the family will remember for a long time.
